A sophisticated, non-alcoholic aperitif created by the team here at Kitchen Garden Co. Working with ingredients from the garden, we have developed this magical ‘mash’ as a deliciously dry alternative to a G&T and game-changing cocktail ingredient.
Sprigster is a liquid that is steeped in provenance. First created using ingredients grown and harvested by us, the gardeners and cooks of Pythouse Kitchen Garden, the acclaimed restaurant in South Wiltshire, this remarkable ‘mash’ of botanicals perfectly encapsulates the unmistakable terroir of our English country garden.
The raw ingredients of Hops, Fennel, Rhubarb and Ginger are slow-cooked in Distilled Grain Vinegar to create the mash. The mash is then blended with a Discovery Apple reduction and English Spring Water to create the finished liquor. On the nose, earthy roast malt combines with sun-soaked orchard fruit. Grapefruit, dry cider and a warm acidity lingers on the palette. Whether you try this as a simple aperitif with dry tonic or as a versatile cocktail ingredient, flavour, tannins and texture abound.
CONTAINS SPRIGS OF GARDEN GOODNESS, UNFILTERED MASH, VEGAN FRIENDLY, NO ADDED SUGAR, SWEETENER FREE, NO ARTIFICIAL FLAVOURS OR COLOURS.
Ingredients: Botanical Mash (Distilled Grain Vinegar, Water, Hops, Fennel Seeds, Rhubarb, Ginger) English Spring Water, Pressed English Discovery Apples, Sodium Metabisulfite (Preservative)
Recommended serve: Pour 50ml Sprigster over ice, add 200ml good tonic or soda water and garnish with the season’s fruit and herbs.
Storage: Store in a cool dry place and, for maximum shelf life, refrigerate when opened. Unfiltered product, may develop sediment, please shake the bottle.
