Sprigster - Chestnut Sour

With Sprigster, Cider Brandy 5 Year, Lemon, Chestnut, Egg White, Bitters
Peach in colour, fruity and complex, this silky-smooth take on a classic sour cocktail incorporates cider brandy which pairs beautifully with the Apple, Ginger and Rhubarb notes of the Sprigster, along with the nutty caramel flavours of the chestnut liqueur. This cocktail is reminiscent of baked apple pie whilst also being lively and fresh.

INGREDIENTS

25ml Sprigster
45ml Somerset Cider Brandy 5 year
15ml Lemon
20ml Chestnut Liqueur
3 dashes Aromatic Bitters

METHOD

Add all ingredients to a shaker, dry shake (no ice), wet shake (with ice) and double strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with a decadent marinated black cherry and orange peel and then, for an extra flourish, express orange peel through an open flame over the drink.
